I have been having a blast writing the blog, but writing creatively is my outlet. For the past few years, I've been toying with an idea for a fantasy novel. I've started and stopped a few times now, filled notebooks with lore and material, and even drawn a map of my imaginary continent!

The Pitch

My novel is at its core a coming-of-age medieval fantasy adventure. Readers will follow the harrowing journey of Joshua, a shy and observant 19-year-old boy who likes to dream. On a whim, he joins the crew of a mercenary ship, leaves home, and becomes entangled in a war for the kingdom–and for his soul.

Nothing worthwhile is ever an event, but a process! Once a week I will be posting the latest scene from the novel. I will provide a brief introduction to the scene along with any special notes I feel are necessary, followed by a 5-10 minute update of Joshua's journey!
